about.
In this work I photographed my local district, searching for subtle traces of the women’s protests against Poland’s restrictive anti-abortion laws. Instead of the crowded streets and demonstrations, I focused on the quieter aftermath – graffiti, stickers, and the iconic red thunderbolt of the Strajk Kobiet movement appearing on walls, bus stops, and hidden corners. These silent signs of resistance became a fragmented portrait of a society in conflict, capturing both the persistence of protest and the fragility of hope in everyday spaces.
